Poster, a seasoned risk and regulatory affairs executive, and Ann Davlin, Chief Strategy Officer at Dynamhex have been appointed to the Solar One Board and started their service on January 1, 2022.  These new Board members join at a time when Solar One is increasing its role in assisting New York City in reaching its ambitious climate change mitigation targets.

New York City, NY January 13, 2022 – New York City nonprofit Solar One has seen substantial growth and widespread impact of its programs in the last several years, despite the challenges of the pandemic and the virtual work environment. The Solar One Board, which provides governance oversight and strategic guidance for the organization, has appointed two new Board members, Amy C. Poster, a risk, regulatory, and governmental affairs consultant, and Ann Davlin, Chief Strategy Officer at Dynamhex, bringing total board membership to sixteen.”

As an award-winning New York City nonprofit, Solar One is dedicated to sustainability and resiliency in urban neighborhoods and delivers a wide array of programming providing environmental education services to diverse program participants. The new board members bring valuable expertise that will increase Solar One’s impact and empower underserved communities to actively participate in creating a more just and equitable future for those most affected by the changing climate

Ms. Amy Poster has a wide range of consulting experience in finance and risk assessments and had served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the US Department of Treasury, Office of the Special Inspector General Troubled Asset Relief Program- TARP (SIGTARP). Prior to her role at SIGTARP, she was Director in Product Control at Credit Suisse, focusing on risk and valuation for global credit products within the Fixed Income Division. She is also currently a contributing writer for fintech and financial services at Forbes.com and is on the Advisory Board of 100 Women in Finance and NY based private equity fund Turning Rock Partners.

Along with her position at Dynamhex, Ms. Ann Davlin is a sustainable development leader and government programs expert. She is the Founder and President of Davlin Development Group, raising private and institutional capital for clean energy and resiliency projects in the United States and Europe. For over 25 years, she has led strategic private and public-sector investments in the environment and energy sectors, with a focus on clean energy, environmental security, water infrastructure, and waste-to-value to address climate and scarcity issues. She has worked at the White House, Department of Defense, leading nonprofit organizations, investment firms, and multinational companies.

Solar One is starting 2022 with organizational growth and expansion of its programs clearly on the horizon. Solar One has nearly doubled its staff over the last several years to now include over 40 dedicated green energy, sustainability, and education professionals. The organization’s programs are now expanding to include additional communities, new strategic partners, and ambitious goals to be a key component of New York’s efforts to combat climate change.
