Three organizations are banding together to make installing solar easier and more cost-effective for homeowners and coops/condos. Solarize Brooklyn is a campaign organized by two local volunteer groups, Sustainable Flatbush and Sustainable Kensington Windsor Terrace, with Solar One serving as an advisor.

The group has organized community education sessions and has selected two expert solar installers who are offering special pricing and group discounts for participants. Sign up for the program lasts until June 30, and education sessions are scheduled for June 1 and June 4.
