Volunteer for our Programming

Solar One usually needs volunteers for each of our major events: Citysol, Dance, Film, Sun to Stars and Revelry by the River. Right now we have no major events for which we will need volunteers. But keep up to date with our events calendar and contact us if you would like to inquire about volunteering.

Volunteer in Stuyvesant Cove Park

Stuy Cove Park has both a dedicated group of volunteers that help take care of the beds and planters, and periodic public volunteer days. Volunteer days will show up on the events calendar. Corporate Volunteer Days

Bring your company to Solar One and Stuyvesant Cove Park for a corporate volunteer day!  Volunteer days are oranized through our Park Manager, Melissa, who will coordinate the activities.  The opportunity to do productive volunteer work in NYC outdoors with plants is rare.  Volunteer days are fun and team-building.  Companies we have worked with in the past are established and pro-active in the community.  Contact Melissa for more information; visit the contact page and use the subject “volunteer in the park.”
